Mario Torres is a 2026 C/1B/OF with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends Reborn Christian Academy. Strong and physical build. Right handed hitter, has a small lift and replace leg timer, rotational upper body swing with limited lower half shift, hands work well to the ball and have some strength and ability to impact, works gap to gap, can use his strong lower half more for increased bat speed. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a standard stance, game actions in drills, gains ground into his throws well, clean hands receiving and in his transfers, has a idea on his fundamentals and executes them. Good student.
