A big-bodied athlete with an imposing 6-foot-4, 230-pound stature, Zangari is relatively new to pitching, but he has created quite a stir in the scouting community by routinely throwing mid-90s heat. A gifted overall athlete, he has seen a lot of time behind the plate as his team's primary catcher where his arm is also a valuable asset, and also shines on defense playing football as a pass rusher with a knack for penetrating the opponent's backfield.
