2025 PG Kansas City Indoor Showcase (02/23/2025 - 02/23/2025)

Live AB Highlights
2/24/2025 6:08:56 PM

Karson Bowers (2026 C, Lawrence, KS) found two loud barrels during live ABs. Had a flyball shot through the middle of the field and banged a haning SL into left for a line drive.

Christian Niederwerder (2026 LHP, Leawood, KS) ran it up to 86 from the left side, living low 80s. Mixed in a quality fading CH and late breaking CB as well that were effective. Also collected a hard pullside line drive into left at the plate.

Michael Ramsey (2026 RHP, Parsons, KS) showed some loud stuff on the mound. Ran his fastball into the low 90s that had real life/carry through the zone. Mixed in a sharp downer breaker in the mid-upper 70s (~2500 RPMs) as well as a quality CH.

Hunter Fryman (2026 C, Marshfield, MO) collected a hard low line drive to the pullside. Noticeable quickness to the hands that throw a direct barrel to the baseball.

Calvin Stanczyk (2028 SS, Saint Louis, MO) had an effective outing on the mound, running it up into the mid 80s with the fastball that had some natural running action while mixing in a sharp slider. Also showed well at the plate with a couple of good swings which included a hard line drive back up the box.

Jase Wilkinson (2027 LHP, South Greenfield, MO) showed strong stuff from the left side during his outing. It's a loose and easy operation down the mound. He ran his fastball into the upper 80s, T88 and mixed in two strong secondary options in a depthy CH he killed spin on and a get me over bigger CB he landed for strikes.

Lucas Kamerzell (2028 OF, Overland Park, KS) had one of the better barrels of the day where he had a flyball shot to the opposite field where he did a good job going with the middle-away fastball.

Cale Fossett (2026 3B, Roeland Park, KS) had a dominant performance on the mound and found some barrels at the plate. Showed a 4-pitch mix but his upper 80s, T90 fastball and sharp/tight low 80s SL really stood out. Offensively he found two loud pullside barrels which showed his easy impact/power.

Mason Jones (2026 C, Smtithville, MO) found a couple quality fly ball barrels. His 1st was to the opposite field and his other was a shot through the middle of the field. Some strength/quickness to the hands that work the barrel more direct at entry and level into contact.

JJ Grove (2026 SS, Wichita, KS) turned on one hard for a line drive shot to the pullside. Strength and bat speed stoodout during batting practice and it translated into live ABs.
