2025 Indianapolis Indoor Prospect Gateway Highlights

Easton Benaske (2029, Grand Ledge, Mich.) found barrels in-game, showing off a smooth stroke with a good feel to impact. He used all fields, working backside and back up the middle, consistently finding ways to get it done.

Justin Balas (2030, Valparaiso, Ind.) added a nice base knock in-game. He used the long levers in his frame well and was able to show a smooth left-handed stroke. He found the barrel and drove one for a well-struck base knock.

Thorsten Fleps (2029, Saint Charles, Ill.) found a couple of barrels in-game using the bigger and stronger frame well. He had a ton of strength in the hands that translated to a couple of loud impacts. Hammered one pull-side and one that worked the backside gap.

Preston Skeens (2028, Hixson, Tenn.) was able to get the barrel on one and drive it hard through the middle of the field into CF. Good strength off of it with a deep load and impact off the barrel. Also shined behind the dish with a good feel to manage the game with quality receiving and the traits that make up a good backstop.

Kameron Cox (2028, Countryside, Ill.) added several barrels in-game on Saturday. He was able to live on the barrel every time he stepped in the box, finding ways to drive the ball hard to all fields. He worked counts well and hunted fastballs to do damage and impact it loud all over the field.

Harrison Shee (2030, Louisville, Ky.) picked up 2 hits, working with a simple and compact stroke. Produced a couple of nice swings, finding a way to get the barrel on it and stay through it well.

Andrew Nowarita (2030, Louisville, Ky.) is another backstop who stood out. Showed advanced actions behind the dish with a good feel to swing it as well. Smooth stroke with some looseness that allowed him to create barrel whip and impact the ball well today in-game.
