James Bowman (2028 OF, Baldwin, MD) attacks the ball aggressively from a narrow and open stance with a hanging leg timer. He created very consistent and very hard contact with some mid-field lift. The ball sounded very loud coming off his bat.
Christian Gomez (2027 OF, Haymarket, VA) is a left handed hitter with very good hands in his set up and load. It's a short and direct swing that creates easy bat speed and loud pull side contact.
Brett Pedersen (2025 C, Martisnburg, WV) has a senior's present strength at 6-2/200 and a long and strong swing that created some serious jump off the barrel. There is definitely some present power there that should translate to the next level.
Ryan Gaines (2028 RHP, Haymarket, VA) is a young primary pitcher pitcher who has talent with a bat in his hand as well. It's a low effort loose swing that projects well and he's already to make pitch to pitch adjustments.
Mitry Kirshy (2025 3B, Florence, SC) Kirshy gets into his strong hips well with a rotational right-handed swing that he repeated well for lots of hard mid-field to right center field contact.
Nico Moritz-Toledo (2027 OF, Gainesville, VA) is a Virginia Tech commit with very strong and twitchy hands. The left-handed hitter made his best contact staying inside the ball and driving it to the left center field gap.
Jerome-Alejandro (JA) Stephens (2028 OF, Baltimore, MD) is a loose athlete with a young body and tons of physical projectability. He has a whippy easy swing with present bat speed and more to come.
Colby Fesler (2027 SS, Broadway, VA) has very good strength in his 6-0/180 build and created some of the best bat speed at the event. The right-handed hitter has a very easy and repeatable hand load/path and absolutely crushed some balls.
Dominic Shaver (2026 1B, Lutherville, MD) looks bigger than his listed 6-2/205 build and uses his strength to get to his power pretty easily. It's an open and pull side approach that he executes well.
JB Young (2027 C, Hickory, NC) still has plenty of strength to gain on his young 5-10/155 frame but he had one of the better pure swings we saw today and lived on the barrel while repeating his timing very well. He's a good bet to keep improving simply through getting stronger.
