Dylan Langstaff is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Douglas County. A taller and more athletic frame with present strength and room to keep adding moving forward in the projectable build. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Worked out as a first baseman, throwing 84 mph across the diamond with a swift and clean arm action. He was a good mover at first with a clue for the bag and actions working off of it. He fielded the ball cleanly and funneled it through the middle of his body with a good job working through it with softer hands and good actions overall. He had a rhythm to the operation with a shuffle into the throws, using a longer arm action to keep throws coming out smooth. Throws carried across the diamond with ease and he also showed good feeds to second base. A right-handed hitter with higher set hands and the back elbow up, with a wider and spread base. He starts slightly open with a big gather leg lift trigger over the backside before striding into it. He lets the hands get deep and whips the barrel through the zone, using the physicality well to create some leverage. He showed good intent during his round and was able to stay through the middle of the field and produce hard contact up the middle consistently with good strength and lift to it. He showed bat speed and good connectivity throughout the entire process. Took a solid round of BP and produced an 83 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Easy traits to like on both sides of the ball from the two-way prospect. Excellent student. Named to 2024 Rocky Mountain Workout Showcase TP List.
