Evan Daxenbichler is a 2027 SS/RHP/UT with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Bartonville, IL who attends Limestone Community. Lean, athletic build with well-proportioned strength present and projection remaining. Primary shortstop, gets a good first step on the baseball and works through it with sound footwork. Showed the ability to take proper angles to the ball with good lateral range to both sides. Funneled the ball with soft hands and delivered fairly accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 77 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts in a slightly open, upright stance with a high hand set-up and high back elbow. Utilizes an inward leg lift trigger for timing before working into a loose and level bat path. Impacts the baseball out in front and to the pull-side. Creates extension to the barrel and whip through the zone. Has good strength in the hands with more power to project on moving forward. Posted an exit velocity of 81 mph. Ran a 5.07 forty-yard dash. Good student.
