Caden Basar is a 2027 2B/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Gregory, MI. A longer and lean frame with some length throughout. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary infielder with clean glovework and really smooth hands. He fields it bent over at the waist with clean glovework and snatchy hands. Accurate across with throws at 74 mph. He has clean actions, staying low, and working through the ball well. Softer hands with clean actions. A left-handed hitter with a wider base, slightly open feet, high hands, and the back elbow up. He turns hard through it with an aggressive move to contact. He made an inward move through contact and was able to get some jump off the barrel. There was some bat speed that showed with a pull-side approach shown during the round of BP swings. Smooth line-drive-producing swings that made for a good round. Produced an 83 mph exit velocity during PG DK Testing. Excellent student.
