Logan Tanner is a 2019 C/RHP/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Lucedale, MS who attends George County HS. Big and strong physical build, durable catcher's look to him. Very loose and flexible behind the plate defensively, has fluid actions and very good balance, can make accurate strong throws on difficult pitches, very good raw arm strength. Right handed hitter with a loose and fluid swing, pull to mid field approach, good extension through contact, has strength at contact and the ball comes off the barrel hard. Also pitches, compact catcher's arm action, simple controlled delivery with a low effort release. Fastball topped out at 93 mph, has been up to 95 mph at other PG events, threw mostly fastballs, developing feel for a short slider. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi State. Selected for the 2018 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
