Brody Connors is a 2024 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-0 167 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends Mater Dei. He ran a 7.24 second sixty. A primary short stop with young athletic build. On the infield he showcased a big arm with athletic actions moving well laterally in both directions with feel for the glove as his footwork carries him smoothly into the throws. In the outfield he once again showcased a big arm with an aggressive approach and the ability to carry that momentum into the throw with good direction and game like actions. On the mound he works from a high three-quarter arm slot with a quick shoulder and the ball jumping out of the hand at 81-86 mph, he tunnels the slider well off of the fastball with good horizontal bite as a potential swing and miss pitch, the changeup is a quality third offering with good arm speed in the mid 70's to complete a pretty impressive package on the mound. Right-handed hitter, starts even with a hanging leg lift and lower hand positioning, the ball really gets some jump for the pull gap to the line with plenty of intent and a swing path that project well to game actions.
