Tyler Acevedo is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Middletown, NY who attends Trinity-Pawling. Strong athletic build. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick feet and moves well, plays with energy, has good flow through the ball, quick hips in his turns, more of a second baseman with his arm strength but has the athletic actions to excel there. Has run a 6.70 sixty in the past at PG events. Right handed hitter, has a simple approach with a short hands driven swing, has very strong and quick hands that create lots of present bat speed, gets the barrel out front and makes hard contact with carry, gets uphill out front. Has a chance to have a big bat at a middle of the field defensive position. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississippi. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
