Danny Palomba is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends Orchard Lake St. Marys Prep. A stronger frame and medium build. Some strength presently with room to keep adding. Ran a 7.87 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman who worked out on the infield with throws across the diamond at 77 mph. He had active footwork with quicker feet, getting the hands to it out in front with some extension through his release. Showed a feel for the backhand actions and had solid footwork overall. He made the plays and was accurate across. Took BP as a right-handed hitter with a spread base, high hands, and the back elbow up. He had a simple move in the front side with a toe-tap trigger working into it. He stayed on an inside path with some hand speed shown. He was able to whip the barrel through the zone and show some strength off the barrel. He was direct with the hands, and he could lift the ball to the middle of the field. Flashed pull-side juice during his round of BP swings. Produced an 82 mph exit velocity PG DK Testing. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a leg lift up at the waist, pushing down the slope and staying on-line with the plate. He worked quickly with a clean and medium arm action. He repeats it well with a clean delivery and some feel to work through release. He filled up the zone, working 77-79 mph with spin above 2,200 RPMs. He had an arm-side run on the pitch and was able to spot it up well. He showed a slider in the upper-60s with spin above 2,100 RPMs with some feel to land it for strikes. Showed a changeup in the mid-70s with spin down into the 1,600s. He had a great mound presence with a good tempo overall and plenty to like overall. Great student.
