Toby Rosenband is a 2026 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD. Recorded a 7.59 second sixty-yard dash time. Tall, slender frame with long levers, a high waist and plenty of room to add strength as he matures. Primary shortstop with some bounce in his step, lateral quickness to both sides and fairly clean glove actions during the fielding process. Exhibits athleticism in his movements into the fielding process, while displaying fundamentally sound footwork throughout. Works downhill through the baseball, maintains momentum towards his target and throws from a lower arm slot. Recorded arm strength up to 73 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works from a lower three-quarters arm slot, flashing some natural arm-side run to his fastball that worked in the upper-60s to low-70s for the duration of his outing. Mixed in slurve shaped breaking ball that varied in shape and showed gradual depth at 65 mph. Took part in the outfield portion of the workout as well, where he showed an aggressive approach with athleticism in all his movements. Fields cleanly out in front with smooth gather and well-maintained momentum through release. Recorded arm strength up to 75 mph from the outfield. Lastly, took a turn behind the plate during catcher drills and showed similar athleticism in his movements. Gains ground towards his target efficiently, while showing a quick release and arm strength on his throws. Right-handed hitter that hits from a bent knee, open stance with a low hand set and small leg lift trigger for timing. Middle-of-the field approach with slightly upward swing plane and some quickness to his hands. Has a tendency to leave his weight on his back side, which inhibits his ability to drive the baseball. Shows fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with some feel for the barrel, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Versatile set of present tools with plenty of projection remaining.
