Blane Metz is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Floyds Knobs, IN who attends Floyd Central. Features an XL frame with strength present. Projects well for more down the line. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a long, whippy arm action with a slight hook at the bottom. Fastball sat 89-92 mph, topping out at 94 mph. Offering showed 14” IVB and spin rates near 2400 rpm. Will lose velocity at times. Creates 17” of sweep on upper-70’s sweeper. Nearly pure horizontal action. Flashed a straight changeup in the mid-80’s. Some intriguing traits present with more to tap into. Excellent student.
