Kody Gibbs (2022, Rosenburg, Texas) is a 6-foot-2 right-hander committed to Texas A&M – Corpus Christi who opened up the event for South Texas Sliders Mayer showing some very intriguing stuff. The body plays extremely well with plenty of athletic upside working down the hill, arm action is a compact path that adds quality jump on the fastball he ran up to 88. Mixed the slider very well, power lateral life that generated a good amount of swing and miss and helped rack up 10 punchouts. The Sam Houston State commit is an excellent athlete who fits the part on the hill with early impact potential in the rotation.
