Eli West (2024, Millington, Tenn.), a tall, lean right-hander, toed the rubber early Saturday morning and he spun it well despite lacking the run support to secure the victory. The operation is fluid with a moderate kick and solid drive down the plane. The sinking fastball that lives in the low-80s induced a lot of ground balls. The breaker displays advanced pitchability with decent shape and depth early in counts. He will manipulate the shape to his benefit to get whiffs with two strikes. A really promising late fall outing for the uncommitted 2024.
