The defending College World Series Champions continue their annual appearance as Coach Vitello and Recruiting Coordinator Josh Elander have once again assembled a talent rich class filled with plenty of depth and potential superstars. The Vols recruiting reach spans both coasts along with players from varying climates. There are twenty-four commits within the Class of 2025, headlined by a trio of Perfect Game All-American Classic participants in Billy Carlson, Cameron Appenzeller and Taylor Tracey. Carlson brings a legitimate two-way skill set with superstar potential as the California native could lay claim to be the top defender within the class, while having impact at the plate and pumping mid-90s on the mound. The lean, lanky lefty Appenzeller has made huge velocity gains over the past year and has front-line starter type physical projection that could be deployed on Friday nights in the SEC. Tracey hails from Austin, Texas and brings a plethora of tools on both sides of the ball and brings the ever-growing two-way potential to the table. Middle-infielder Ethan Moore and RHP Tyler Wood round out the Top Five players in-terms of overall rankings for Tennessee, as each bring their own enticing tools to the class.

Of course, the draft may cause some of these guys to forgo campus but what Coach V and Coach Elander have done is simply reload with a bevy of talented players that should make their way on campus. Virginia native Evan Hankins is another potential two-way star that brings huge left-handed power potential at the plate and a polished repertoire on the mound, while the likes of Ty Thompson, Jax Bishop and backstop Cash Williams are extremely talented players that should arrive on-campus.
