This is the 14th annual 17U BCS Finals which is held on MLB Spring Training fields in Fort Myers, Florida. Past champions of this event include: Orlando Scorpions (2006), East Cobb Astros (2007), Diamond Vision Elite (2008), East Cobb Astros (2009), East Cobb Astros (2010), Texas Sun Devils (2011), Orlando Scorpions (2012), East Cobb Astros/Midwest Elite Baseball (2013), Texas Sun Devils (2014), Elite Squad Select 16U (2015), Scorpions 2017 Black (2016), 5 Star National Dobbs (2017) and Elite Squad 17U American (2018).

The coach's meeting and Opening Ceremonies will be held on Saturday, July 6th at 5:00 PM at City of Palms Park. Teams should be prepared to start tournament play at 8:00 AM on Sunday, July 7th. The playoffs will begin on Friday, July 12th and the Championship will be on Sunday, July 14th.

Format

-84 teams. 21 pools of 4
-Each team will play 3 games in the first round of pool play
-After the first round, all teams will be reseeded into either Championship/Platinum pools or Silver/Bronze pools and play 3 more pool play games
-Pool winners will be seeded #1-21
-2nd place teams #22-42
-3rd place teams #43-63
-4th place teams #64-84
-The Championship/Platinum pools will consist of 44 teams. Pool winners, 2nd place teams, and the top 2 3rd place teams. Seeds #1-44 will be placed in 11 pools of 4.
-The Silver/Bronze pools will consist of 40 teams. Seeds #45-84 will be placed in 10 pools of 4.
-For example, Pool AA will consist of seeds #1, 22, 23, and 44. Pool BB will be seeds #2, 21, 24, and 43.
-After the second round of pool play, the top 2 teams in the Championship/Platinum pools will advance to a single elimination Championship bracket while the bottom 2 teams in these pools will play in a single elimination Platinum Bracket. The top 2 teams from the Silver/Bronze pools will advance to a single elimination Silver bracket while the bottom 2 teams from these pools will play in a single elimination Bronze bracket.
-Both rounds of pool play will determine playoff seeding. A 2nd Place team in the 2nd round of pool play will not be seeded high then the pool winners in the second round.
-There will be no consolation games.
