Batting Practice Highlights

2/14/2026

Gibson Moore (2029, Columbia, MO) showed impressive handle for the barrel during his round. The bat-to-ball skills are clear, consistently producing flush line drive contact.

Trevor Oravetz (2026, Wildwood, MO) utilized a gap-to-gap approach while working to lift the ball in the air. The physical stick can impact the ball and has obvious strength coming off.

Taylen Brown-Upchurch (2028, St. Louis, MO) worked the entire field and swings the bat with a ton of intent. There is clear strength at the point of contact as well as good power projection.

Jace Bateman (2028, Hazelwood, MO) handled the barrel well with quality bat speed through the zone to match. The swing is compact and he can leverage the barrel well.

Bryce Baxa (2028, Yorkville, Ill.) has real thunder to the hands and stays connected throughout well. The Illinois native produced consistent loud contact throughout. 

Cole Chambers (2027, Wildwood, MO) crushed baseballs to all fields during his round. The ball was screaming and the power upside is obvious given the blend of strength and bat speed.

Kameron Cox (2027, Countryside, Ill.) showed fast hands with plenty of twitch and athleticism to the swing. There is clear feel for the barrel as well as athleticism to the swing. 

Sam Deibel (2028, St. Louis, MO) displayed a compact stroke while staying in sync and repeating the swing well. The primary right-handed pitcher was all over the barrel with a consistent round. 

Eli Mathis (2028, Jonesboro, Ark.) oozes left-handed power upside, controlling the long levers to the 6-foot-5 frame really well. He can leverage and impacted the ball to the pull side.

Bryce Baxa (2028 C, Yorkville, IL) physical RHH catcher. Showed the ability to get on time and to the barrel in game today. Big jump off the barrel as well. Showed some in game power. Effective pitch mix on the mound with a FB into the low 80's.

Sam Deibel (2028 RHP, Saint Louis, MO) athletic RHP with clean athletic movements in the delivery. Arm speed with a fastball into the mid 80's on the mound. Projectable movements. Dominant outing showing 3 pitches. 

Kameron Cox (2028 SS, Countryside, IL) got to the barrel for an XBH in game today. Athletic middle infielder that can handle the barrel at the plate.

Owen Nolte (2029 LHP, Mattoon, IL) pitchability LHP with command of multiple pitches. Changed speeds and eye levels, go to out pitch in a slider. Impressive outing. 

Gavin Trower (2028 OF, Pacific, MO) put a compact swing on a baseball to drive an XBH to the oppo gap in game today. Holds swing angles well and shows some bat speed. 

Jacob Hatton (2028 1B, Belvidere, IL) showed some bat speed in game today to line an XBH down the RF line. Athletic swing patterns with barrel control.

Cooper Wagner (2028 OF, Rogersville, MO) dominant outing on the mound today. Athletic movements with arm speed on the mound. FB into the upper 80's and a sharp SL with spin traits at 80. Fading CH at 80. Highly projectable arm.

Eli Mathis (2028 1B, Jonesboro, AR) showed projectable traits out of a 6-foot-5 frame on the mound today. Located the low 80's fastball consistently and showed a developing slider with spin traits around 2500 RPM.

Cole Chambers (2027 SS, Wildwood, MO) got to the barrel for a loud XBH in game today. Physical with a blend of strength and bat speed at the plate. Next level traits.
