Shak Boney (2030 3B, Scottsdale, AZ) has been on the screws all weekend and today was no exception when he went backside on a line into the right center gap for a run scoring double.  He also threw out a runner in the first.  

Jacob Etzler (2030 1B, Bothell, WA) got the start on the bump for Black, going two-innings allowing 3-hits, no runs and struck out three.  

Jack Haines (2030 OF, Phoenix, AZ) showed off two-way capabilities getting the start on the mound for Gold, going two-innings and striking out four while working the fastball up to 76.

Angel Sanchez Jr (2030 SS, Litchfield Park, AZ) continues to stay on the barrel, going to the backside for a base knock in his first AB.  Collected his 2nd hit of the day in the 5th with a backside double.  Came in to throw a couple innings out of the 'pen and was dominant.

Bradley McNamara (2031 RHP, North Haven, CT) went on a line to left past a diving left fielder for a run scoring double in the 4th for 3-Black. 

Santino Sardina (2030 SS, Star, ID) has been a tough out today getting a hit in all of his three at-bats and scored a run.  

Clayton Ford (2030 RHP, Yorba Linda, CA) barreled up a ball in the 4th for Gold, came around to score later in the inning for the teams first run of the ballgame.  

Saul Diaz (2030 1B, Tucson, AZ) collected a hit early in the game and then came in to throw a couple innings out of the bullpen, going two-innings and striking out 2.

Shak Boney (2030, Scottsdale, AZ) made quick work of hitters in the first inning, striking out the side while pounding the strike zone. 

Clayton Ford (2028, Yorba Linda, CA) Had a day on the mound, striking out 8 over three innings of work.

Jack Haines (2030, Phoenix, AZ) Took good swing all day, loud contact off the barrel of the bat. 

Angel Sanchez Jr (2030, Litchfield Park, AZ) collected multiple hits, keeping his smooth lefty swing in the zone finding barrels. 

Cruz Young (2031, South Jordan, UT) Had good at bats and quality contact all day long. Very repeatable swing, solid mechanics as a basis. Plenty of time to grow and gain strength. 

Jacob Albers (2030 OF, Queen Creek, AZ) consistently on the barrel with a short, compact stroke using the middle of the field with regularity.  Solid round of batting practice with more to come in the future.

Jackson Morales (2030 MIF, Albuquerque, NM) balanced approach at the plate with feel for the barrel.  Solid round of batting practice with more to come.

Cruz Young (2031 SS, South Jordan, UT) showcased a line drive approach with barrel control and the ability to use the entire field.

Shak Boney (2030 3B, Scottsdale, AZ) showed off some strength during his round of batting practice, getting the barrel out quick and flashing juice to the pull side.

Angel Sanchez Jr (2030 SS, Litchfield Park, AZ) showed good extension out front and created leverage while staying on the barrel and finding some gaps.

Moon Wyatt (2030 3B, League City, TX) intent in the swing while staying on a level path and consistently on a line using the middle of the field.

Maddox Bell (2030 C, Phoenix, AZ) had one of the louder rounds of batting practice on the day, showcasing quick hands and swinging with intent.

Jack Haines (2030 OF, Phoenix, AZ) intent with the swing and found the gaps with consistency in a loud, impressive round of BP.
