Alex Pantoja (2025 LHP, Oviedo, FL)- Led the game off with a well struck single past an outstretched second basemen, then promptly stole both 2nd and 3rd on the subsequent pitches. Good overall athlete with an athletic frame, good actions across the board and impressed on the mound yesterday.
Brayden Johnson (2025 OF, Flowood, MS) answered back for his club with an RBI single snuck past a diving second baseman. Worked a count and had some solid takes, got rewarded for a solid at-bat. Got on the mound and worked up to 80-mph as well with good movement on the low 70's slider and feel to work his heater to both sides of the plate.
Dwight O'Neal (2025 OF, FL) ripped a single over the 6-hole to kick off the 2nd and stole both second and third. Athletic frame and look, can run with some first step quickness.
Gamaliel Rosario (2025 3B, Peabody, MA)- Cleared the bases with a chopper 2B placed well over the third base bag.
Beau Collier (2025 RHP, Labelle, FL) connected on a shot that one hopped the base of the fence in right field for an RBI double. Strong hands and can generate force/impact, nice piece that left the barrel hot and had some carry.
Micah Ott (2025 3B, Melbourne, FL) worked up to 86-mph with arm side life, dotting the edges nicely and working a tight slider in the mid 70's off of it well. Flashed a developing change as well, nice mix with control and feel on the mound.
Alfred Leatherwood Iv (2025 1B, Pensacola, FL)- Strong, physical presence in the box and it translates off the barrel as he sent a deep double to straight away center in an advantage count.
Landon Hawkins (2025 3B, Sumrall, MS) smoked a double to the right center gap on a middle/middle slide piece, best barrel of the game off a quality arm too. Athletic and lean frame with physical projection.
Alec Brown (2025 OF, Mooresville, NC)- Up to 77-mph with the fastball and working it all over the plate, pairs it nicely with a 2300 RPM curveball with depth and shape in the mid 60's for strikes.
Maddux El-Hakam (2025 OF, Bellaire, TX)- Strong and athletic build, ran it up to 81-mph and sat 78-80 with a low 70's slider mixed in during advantage counts.
Nicolas Carrillo (2025 3B, Miami, FL)- Slow paced and repeatable delivery, up to 81-mph and sitting upper 70's with a solid breaking ball and a change up to round off the mix.
