West put together a strong showing throughout the event. He showed off the arm strength from a bunch of different defensive positions as well as on the mound where he topped out at 76 mph with a three pitch mix. He also had one of the best rounds out BP, showing present strength in the left-handed swing.
Baker kicked off the event with one of the fastest 40's of anyone in attendance, including the older group. He has noticeable foot speed and it translated on the infield workout getting to all the spots. He also ran it up to 77 mph on the mound along with putting together a solid round of BP, showing plenty of hand speed throughout.
Cobb was one of the more projectable players in attendance at 6-foot, 160-pounds. He has a loose and whippy arm on the mound that projects long term and he worked into the upper-70s in the outing. There are solid contact skills in the box with power that should come as strength is added onto the frame along with showing fundamental movements in multiple defensive workouts.
Logan had one of the stronger arms from the outfield in the showcase, running throws up to 78 mph. He also showed fundamental actions in the infield with similar arm strength, along with working in the mid-70s on the mound too. He also showed good strength in the round of BP.
Bateman looked strong on the mound throughout the outing, pouring in strikes from a fast arm and worked in the low-70s. The body projects long term and he showed feel to spin the baseball already, something that isn't seen a ton of at this age. Along with that he showed plenty of carry across the diamond in the infield workout as well.
Hughes had one of the better rounds of infield in the group. He showed a clean two hand funnel with feel to change arm angles and a solid internal clock getting throws across. The swing shows components to work with going forward, especially as strength is added onto the frame in the coming years. He showed plenty of foot speed throughout to play multiple positions as well.
Wade is a compact primary corner infielder that put all the skills on display throughout. He worked through the baseball well in the outfield with good carry on throws, showed good feel on the mound with arm speed and feel to turn over a changeup. Along with that he also showed fundamentally sound movements in the infield workout with similar arm strength as well.
